Absolute tragedy, but the poor chap seemed like a natural disaster zone, it must be some kind of record being admitted to hospital so many times through separate accidents :eek:

I think you will find that was grossly exaggerated by the MC's lawyers in an attempt to hide the fact some one covered the access hole with a cement board that was incapable of holding a man's weight.

It stinks and makes you wonder how some people sleep at night.

Someone should have been on a Manslaughter Charge for that.....

The love mussell

I worked with Russell many times he was a good guy and he missed by many, blame the polish for tampering with his job when he was in break.

WHat a Liberty for the mans family having to listen to the shhit that the Lawyer spat out,and for the employer to shut up shop SUPRISE SUPRISE:mad:

I WONT EVEN START ON THE MIGRANT WORKERS

2 dead reported in almost as many weeks where staircases would have prevented these incidents. Still think HSE are wrong? Fortunately they only act where numbers suggest they should - even if it means Mickey Mouse outfits will be put out of business or will only be able to do £1500 house fronts where they belong.

Bearing in mind that some poor soul has lost his life, yes I do still think they would be wrong to ban ladders. There was obviously a lot more wrong on this job than the ladder, as usual, it's what you do with it.

Agreed, even the wee diddy firms like mine use stairs where possible.
