can anyone tell me if you have been scaffolding years and you was given a citb or ecitb advanced scaffolders ticket would they have have been given a cisrs scaffolders gold card when cisrs came in even if they havent been on the courses.

yes when citb change to cisrc cards

if you had a citb card you got a cisrc card

you paid for it

only citb

not ecitb

Yeah you could exchange like for like CITB to CISRS cards. Cut off date was 31/12/2010.
Same course, qualifications, different named card which is why you didn't have to re do the course

I did my advanced in 97 no nvq, had a CITB card, in 2001 I did not do a safety test as my offshore survival was used instead and I got a cisrs gold card

Card cost 23.50 though

you do cushy it just hasn't got NVQ on the back, all you needed to do at the time was sit the health and safety test, or as ian said use the offshore ticket or safety passport, but the "H&S TESTED" stamp is not on the front of your card.

ok mate lets see,
