Cisrs supervisors course

Ps is this a new course say to rival the smsts?
 
They are nearly identical course's bobby apart from a couple of units.
SMSTS has CDM units, why would a scaffolder need CDM, that's for principal contractors like Balfours, Laing o rourke, bam nuttal, a scaffolding firm wouldn't be a PC, so the CISRS course has more units towards scaffolding, but they are the equivalent of each other bob.

I did the 5 day smsts course at ncc bham, and to be fair the instructor was a good laugh but the actual course itself was boring. There wasnt anything i didnt already know....however jon boy it is a good card to have. If i can find my course material i'll send it all down to you pal.

Your right about the cdm aspect but also a lot more 2wards other aspects of general h&s-it'll scare the shiiiit outta ya when u realise everything u can go 2 jail for - tbh the smsts great for bosses,company owners & if you wanting to go 2wards nebosh etc but if ur just wanting to know the legalties of just running a crew then the 3s would suit you better & still a shorter & cheeper course than scaffold supervisors
 
I've already got SSSTS poofter, the PC is asking for SMSTS, my firm don't do it, as they do the supervisors course instead, more scaffolding related.
