how many guaranteed hours per week, travellers need 50-60 hrs a week , need pay digs / travel etc.
 
It says an opportunity has arisen for locals ,
That might tell you that it's for lads that can get there and home every day ,
And no digs are included

With the amount of work that's about at the moment Bigdog why would anyone work for an agency ?
Surely if your any good you would be snapped up by a half decent firm

Because agencies pay better and unfortunately Phil we touched on this recently on here about this it seems more and more firms are going to agencies because they are easier to get rid of it would seem

It's a strange one as it must cost companies more £££ to use agency ???? But after the 3 months of **** working for agencies I won't do it again firms all the way for me
 
You say that Bobby but any agency lads I have seen ( that don't by any way mean all lads only what I have seen myself ) are useless ***** who just want to get the day done with the least amount of work possible ,
So they are no good to a firm ,
Employment laws I understand ,
But if your lads graft pay them, what they deserve it's simple really
 
That's always been a well known saying if there on an agency there either no good or trouble!!

But with the money on offer more an more good blokes are turning to it ( I know a good few ) but again if your on a firm and as you said look after them I found out the hard way that the grass isn't greener more often than not ;)
 
True plenty of work around. I only know these are full of poo as I was on Dover docks direct with a scaff firm but these tossers was called for men and the decent guys I was working with was fu#ked around with hours and money every week.. avoid agencies if poss but these especially
