Can anyone help me out . starting on new firm Monday need cis card, been working paye 4 about 8 years was cis before that. can i do it on line or do i have to go tax office. and how long dose the card take to come.cheers

do cis cards still get used . i thought you just needed a utr number

I was just told it was on the cis been on the cards so long have no dealings with it

You Will Have To Get In Touch With Your Tax Office And Apply For A UTR Number Itll Take About Six To Eight Weeks To Come Through.

you do just need a utr number. think you just phone the tax office and they send you a letter with the number on and you keep the letter. i still got my card from when they did do them.

you can still work before you get your number but they take a bit more tax which you can claim back
