Got an email from them as I must still be on their database but don't think I'll bother at that money. Worked for them before a few years back on mossmorren and there was good money to be made.

youve got to remember that you are working on the most prestigious Royal Naval Contract that has ever been dished out the aircraft carriers will be the biggest ships ever built in the UK.That doesnt help when your tapping yer mates for the round in the boozer cause you are fecking skint.:cry:

the only time I ever worked for cape was at Alcan power station in northumberland, a scruffy hell hole of a place. I was in the toilet and this lagger walks in the conversation went like this :-
"alright scaff, first day?"
"yes mate"
"oh you'll not like it here. it's a horrible, dirty, manky place. the gaffers are cnuts, the works carp and the money is s***!"
"sounds terrible mate, how long you been here?"
"15 years mate"!

How do you deal with a mentality like that?
