Yeah, they sacked me because i got nicked for driving without a licence, admittedly I couldn't drive 200 miles a day there and back without a car anymore :laugh:

Agree with you there mate but at site level things are fine in the North East.

Most sites and regional offices are run by ex laggers, that havent much of a clue about scaffolding, and Cape are more interested in picking up work from there Far East offices now than in the UK, still win contracts but not as many as a few years back.

never had a problem with them either working on or offshore...

as for the offshore thing ..they are the best firm to work for....just a shame they have lost so many platforms and contracts over the last few years...i think they only service around 8/10 platforms now most being the bp ones...
