Thieves make off with £6,000 worth of scaffolding in Canterbury - News - Kent News

Police are appealing for information after £6,000 worth of scaffolding was stolen in Canterbury.

The incident, at a building site in Stodmarsh Road, was reported to police on June 18.

The thieves made off with scaffolding boards and poles from the site where a new house is being built, after they forced their way in through a perimeter fence.

Police say a truck must have been used to take away the items which have orange and burgundy stickers bearing the company name, Westley.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Peter Rangeley at Kent Police on 101, giving reference ZY/16950 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
