Got back from Tenerife and loved it so much I am now trying to find work out there. I can not find a single scaffold never mind scaffolding firm out there. I see a lot of construction and half built buildings so there HAS to be a requirement. A chippy I got talking to said they slashed up quickstage... Anyone got any info...

Just a couple of questions mate..

1, Can you speak Spanish?
2, Do you want to 'slash up kwikstage' for €50 a day?

Hmmm no spanish but most voices in tenerife are english and number 2 dont sound good...

mcdondalds were in the shipyards in las palmas gran canaria i may be wrong might have changed.

but dont think many lads would jack that so the chance of getting on would be next to nowt.

They speak solely spanish in the building trade in spain, and 99% bang there own scaffold up, rough as ****... always try though.. better weather.

Enjoy Dico, I was thinking of heading over myself during the Christmas holiday. Would you still get a bit of sun at that time or would I have to go a bit further afield?

Only use system and yes it's crap and rough as , yes lads it's all Spanish language and 50 euros is a bit excessive try 30-40. It's shard life out there unless you really know somebody very well.
It's very good for fishing sat out on the rocks with some Dorada.
Enjoy.......

Average 25 once had it at 35 on Christmas day pal. Did 5 year on the trot out there for christmas and the new year. Amazing firework show in Los christanos
every new year.

Nice one Steve, just fancied a round of golf without using a bright orange ball to make it stand out from the snow.

Loads of golf more like Lynx courses but get ya dates booked whenya get there and do expect 80 euros a round. They hike everything up over the Christmas period and it got to the point where enough is enough. Thialand is the place now pal. Don't even look at property out there cos it's really on it's a***.

As for the dram, in true jock style I will bring me own. Can be a bit embarrassing trying to get a dozen bottles of buckie through customs.:embarrest:
