To follow on from what Micky Thorburn said about Gareth from logical here is part of the email stating we start on monday not likely to start as what Gareth says.
Still no start date and still no wages for the induction that we attended !!!!

this is the issue with these Agencies,the companies that use them know they can just phone to cancel at the drop of a hat and loose nothing
the whole recruitment market and self employed basis needs to be scrutinised and sorted out
 
We Have Had This Discusion Before Happy, And I Must Tell You I Totally Agree With You, The Way Things Stand Right Now Some Companies And Agencies Seem To Specialise In Taking The ****, But Its Not Exclusive To Scaffolders One Of My Mates Is A Sparky And There The Same, Two Days Here One Day There ,Its Just Not Worth A Toss.

You can only claim the tax you pay. So if you're spending £300 to earn £600 @ 20% tax you are out of pocket £180 plus all the umbrella fees.
 
the cuunts im refering to are agencies in general not any specific one
but the e-mail is clear enough for me there was a start on Monday in my humble opinion.
 
And he travelled from the N.E. down to Heathrow under their instruction to get inducted for F.A. by the look of it.

for it to be slander it needs to be false .

the fact yourself had admitted that the jobs had been knocked back ,all be it not by you yourself but your client. this has a knock on affect down the line to the other parties involved. some have stated they had traveled great distances to endure the induction and with cost which they have not as of yet bee refunded/paid for . with the intentions of starting work on the terminal after the induction this did not materialize ,to which both parties have agreed on. the other parties have voiced concerns over this matter which they have every right to do so if they are in fact telling the truth to which they have email confirmation of this. as swifty has said there has been no slander and you your self have advertised your own number on a public forum to which the scaffolder forum can not be accounted for. so the action swifty has take ;me, as the sheriff of the forum deem this acceptable action. and i deem no futher action on this thread or topic althow i would suggest you review you man managment skill or comunication skill. with both your client and your employees and lads less of the fuck1ng swearing it offends some people




disclaimer this is not the view of the forum this is my view and i will not be taken any action against this thread althow it is up to the deputy sheriff-the sf admin, if he deems our actions a failing on any 1 member of the forum am sure he will take action regards THE SHERIFF

ano tell us about it took me about 15 mins to do it and the thred had bene pulled ahahah and using big words like materialized whoch i can actualy spell ahahaha belw me own tash of there marra and swifts siding on the side of the sheriff ...i am the feking sheriff and dont let you deputies over there forget it ;) or youll be back on the ranch :laugh::laugh:

That's how the ham shanks spell it marra. We use an S instead of the Z. Get your spell checker over to UK.;)
 
Pleased to hear the lads are getting paid. Its about time these agencies were made to be more accountable. If the lads had been on the cards and a job was put back the company would have had to pay them or find alternative work for them. This could be another thing to be looked at as well as setting rates for each job. Time to stand together lads.
 
What Am I Reading? Havespanner Advocating The Same Principles As That Of Unionism You Know The Stand Together Bit, Na Cant Be Maybe Its The Onset Of Early Old Timers Disease And Im Just Imagining This .
