any 1 no off any bridge work while i wait for rigs and the power stations if so who thanks chaps
 
try network scaffolding in bolton, they do a lot of bridge work
 
i heard they havent much on, the bridge lads have been on the street work and theres not much of that!
 
ha ha i left 2wks ago m8 there woz three of us mainley doing them they rang up 2day 2 go bk its not wot its cracked up 2 be

i've worked for dave lee a few times m8, hes a c u n t, he once laid me & my mate off for a week, he said everyone had to have a week off as there was no work, so me & my mate had the week off, i asked a couple of lads what they had done for the week? they said it was only me & my mate who had, the week off, i asked dave lee what was going on, he & pete connolly burst out laughing & said they did it for a laugh :eek:
 
oh u no him then! he is a **** but a likeable **** i do get on wiv him like just had enough of his **** and by the way hes got worse m8
 
i worked for him at bolton scaffold,right cxxt.told him to stick his job up were the sun dont shine.dont suppose ile ever get a job there again.:Dsent me and a labourer to erect a tower scaff down a reservoir tower,hse man on site,everything had to be lowered by rope,took all day to get enough to base out with,got back to yard,he went off his tits cos it wernt finished.three x twenty six ft towers ,round,top lift boarded,hse on our back.last day i worked there.:D

at bolton scaffolding m8, he had that dark blue bentley then & a speed boat, proper loves himself the little sh it;)
 
ha ha a few of my mates have worked for him, ive not had the privildge yet!

Saw him the other day cruisin round in his range rover outside where i work.

our firm has just taken Ste Walker on as scaffold manager im guessin you and dave b 2 will know him aswell!
 
yes m8 at connollys now with yorkie and ray smith is a legand m8 bit fooked now but respect still pal wots butlers like never been there
 
My first day i did with Yorkie at Hanover scaffolding and then i spent about two years with Ray, funilly enough i was working with Ray at my last firm about a year and a half ago!

Ive had the lot Ray, Jay, Yorkie, Keith Hayes, Ste Burrows, rob Hogg the list goes........

Butlers used to be amazing about five years ago, lots of house refurbs you could hammer them to get a decent wage but now its very slow, just over basic wages at the mo but hopefully Ste can pull the work in and get it going!
 
yep sounds like a day in my world its a small world its same everywhere m8 youve worked with sum pros and cons m8
 
doubt it he hasn't got anything for me, he laid me off last week:eek:
