Bouyancy Aids

Hi Folks

Trying to source bouyancy aids with a slit / hole in the back for lanyards to fit through, I have come across a number of bouyancy aids where they have put a knife through the back to allow the lanyards to fit.

Have tried the life vests with the gas cyclinders but scaffs find them uncomfy especially around the neck.

Any help gratefully received.

The gas cannister ones will deploy in rain, they are the least obtrusive of them all. (When it's not raining of course).

Leeches do a harness with a flotation device its called the Exofit xp catalogue number of-6106 if you google that you should be able to see what you're after.

try a rubber ring and arm bands should do the trick ps most scaffs like the ones with ducks on ?

We usr the lightweight self inflating ones -off ebay about £60each same type that the emergancy services& boat personnel use.they only inflate if submerged, the rain wont set em off lol gas refill cartridge is like a sodastream & the whole kit is light & most importantly idiot proof

I have never understood the need for buoyancy aids to be deployed with a fall arrest system.
If fall arrest use has been properly assessed and utilised no one should end up in the water in the event of a fall.
We used to have to wear both on some rigs and one on others.
