job description:
To operate as part of the platform core multi-tasked scaffold team to fairfield delivering against all client and company service,
operational, commercial and hseq expectations and targets. Provide supervision and leadership for all platform scaffolding requirements,
take part in general multi- task deck support services which may comprise of deck services, helicopter and heli-deck
operations, hose bunkering, cargo & material handling.
Tasks:
• ensuring that all client expectations are delivered within the relevant bilfinger
/fairfield scaffolding compliance procedures and following up customer
enquiries and demands promptly
• liaising with the platform services supervisor in the planning and requisition
of all scaffolding materials and equipment requirements
• ensuring that all activities are performed in compliance with all relevant
salamis scaffolding procedures and company hseq procedures
• adopting safe working practices and promoting safety awareness within the
bilfinger and fairfield safety culture
• assisting in the identification, review and assessment of discipline specific &
general hs&e hazards \ risks, including stop / coshh, advanced safety audits /
manual handling, environmental, etc.
• the position will involve elements of supervision, therefore applicants need to
be able to demonstrate good safety leadership and communication skills
requirements:
• competent and trained in all aspects of scaffolding erection, dismantle,
management systems and statutory regulations
• preferably cisrs part 3 qualified
• good communication skills and a keen team player with a proactive approach
in every aspect or work
• experience in heli-deck operations including refuelling
• experienced in deck crew duties, banksman / slinging
• sound knowledge of risk assessment and safety management systems and
familiar with the compliance requirements of waste management
