Personally I hate clothing too thick and bulky not only for movement but vision and catching in my frogs, got some great s3 boots with rubber toe and heels and a beanie under the hardhat, got some nano spray for jackets that supposed to waterproof em and marigolds for underneath gloves when its icy, any tips for improving the finely greased machine I have become and also footy socks with overalls in or out ;)

My Nissan Navaro with the heater on full blast, while i watch you lads try to split the boards where there frozen together:laugh:

Has to be overalls inside footy socks joe, its the scaffs way. Before i joined the outfit im with now i used to buy ex army gortex kit. Nice and light and easy to move around in. But i think you've got it down to a fine art for the winter pal.

I could be helpful and put up details of the sleeper cab attachment for the four foot bed to save on hotels, just bend your legs and your laughing

Ive got a buff, its a type of scarf that goes over your head. It shows diffrent ways to wear it on the packet, scarf, hat, bandanna ect. Best thing I ever brought. Keeps the wind off the neck and pulls up around your ears. Just brought a pair of sealskinzs socks, hopefully they will keep the old plates of meat warm and dry.

Sat at home, on my comfy sofa with a hot mug of tea and some toast, whilst ringing the boys and asking if they've done it yet.

Simple just turn the air conditioning down on those occasional nippy mornings when the temperature drops to 14C.
You and Stella know the score Happy H.
No wonder they are so miserable in Yorkshire.;)

Were not all miserable in yorkshire, just the ones that get fecking cold....lol

Pretty much the same all year except a thermal liner under my overalls and a zero hood in January for the frozen North winds. A good flexothane all in one rain suit for the odd time it rains round here.
