These couplers aren't covered by EN 74 or any of the TG guidance notes. TG20:13 design guide, section 5.9.1 has a bit for "non-standard" couplers; basically any non-standard coupler needs to be tested in accordance with BS EN 12811-3 and the SWL obtained from the tests. Given that there is no load requirement in any of the British Standards for this type of coupler, it is difficult for the manufacturer to come up with a load to test them to! They need to prevent the board being dislodged with men and materials moving on the scaffold, and prevent uplift from wind loads but these loading's aren't specified anywhere.
