Visited a mate in Cheltenham yesterday and spotted this scaffold. I was not aware that people still erected jobs using Band & Plate and DH's.

Go to Cambridge , everyone out there still uses B & P they are good with them too.

Dont like Band and Plate.
When im told to get a bag by my Labourer i can only carry 5 at a time - they are heavy and he tells me off!! :(

Yep Cambridge is the place for B&P
even seen them do a putlog job with them :amazed:
Seen the very same thing mate, they seemed to be making putlog holes in the walls of lovely old building to save tube. I asked them "what happens to the holes when you strike the scaffold mate" "who gives a f*ck mate" came the answer, i expected nothing less really. Its did look like hassle though but very tidy.

Should come to North Wales. Still get used quite a lot this end.

I keep around seven or eight thousand of them myself.

Handy for new builds.

they are still the bees knees, underslinging or just doing away with the aberdeen trannies IDEAL.

You will remember Rigblast Happy who wanted both. Set didn't beef up the slip load.

Calm down calm down, it wisnae me it wis me brother.:embarrest:

no ally its just that some rbg so called scaffolders think that you need both as they were under the illusion the Aberdeen was a checker even on non hanging scaffolds.

haha, RBG don't you just love em.
