Hi Barry,

How long have you been in the forces and where were you based?

If you haven't already done so, find a reputable employer in the trade, not necessarily one of the big boy's as sometimes it can be easier to progress with a smaller outfit. Once the training starts, keep the gear going up and the mouth closed and you will soon find your feet, good luck and welcome to the forum.

hi there mate,does the army not have its own scaffolding firm,try getting in that before you leave,get free training,then you dont get any **** when on the street.

I have worked with a few lads who are ex army, spot on lads who are very disciplined, excellent attitude and timekeeping.
