hi lads getting ready to send away for advanced card done cscs saftey test this morning just wondering if i can send photocopies of part1 cert part2 cert and my advanced cert or does it have to be the actual certs received from college and is it still 26.50 postal order tht i have to send aswel cheers lads
 
Photocopies are fine mate
I sent photocopies of my NVQ's and Cecol cert etc and had no probs
£26.50 yeah
 
If you have done the course, then i believe all you have to do is apply and pay for the Card.
The CSCS and CISRS are pretty much 2 parts of the same system anyway.

They WILL know that you have just done your CSCS (Touch Screen) test. :)
 
you do have to send copies of your NVQ's. It says so on the application form you need to fill in to get your card

Download the application form off the CISRS website mate. It tells you exactly what they require you to send with the completed form
 
i never had any certificates of nvqs or part 1/2 i sent a copy of both sides of my part 2 card with advanced certificate and assessment .tell them you moved house they only want your money
 
you send photo copies of your cert's if you only send advanced thats all that is printed on the back so if you send 1/2 and advanced pluss nvq they all get mentioned on your card
 
i only sent advanced plus my part 2 card and everything is on the back

it says part 1 tube and fitting part 2 tube and fitting , advanced and nvq level 3 . thats everyting isnt it ?
 
jst got photocopies of part 1 part 2 and both side of the advanced cert do they need original cert of the advanced i jst photocopied the lot lads


but gave them front page of advanced cert cskills awards level 3 NVQ diploma
accessing operations and rigging scaffolding and offshore scaffolding (QCF)

and next page is credit certificate with with all the jobs erected and dismantles with reference to the risk assessments and method statements and safe working practice
 
i have part 2 card and original advanced cert to hand zoetsy said it was fine to send photocopies jst making sure i do everything rite so no delay with my new card bud can,t get postal order to monday anyway so send it off first thing
 
Photocopies are all that's required mate. They have it all on system anyway.

Yeah Allan, only difference is it says Nvq 1 and nvq 2 on back of card also but doesn't seem to make any difference. If you've got the card your qualified to that level.
Mine doesn't have Nvq1 on the back I assume because when I did it the part 1 nvq cert was called assessing occupations or something. Even though on back it says assist in erection of independent etc etc

Fook knows ! lol
 
So... if someone as Erection problems - you can 'assist' them?!?
Kinda like a Fluffer in the Porn Industry? :D ;)

My level 1 NVQ us called - accessing occupations (construction)
On the back - contribute to H&S
Efficiency in work place
Contribute to installation and use of platforms -
Independent tied and putlog
Proprietary system scaffolds and towers
Contribute to loading and unloading of materials
Contribute to selection and use of hoisting equipment
(bosuns chair, rope and ancillary equipment)
Contribute to selection and use of equipment
Create and maintain work relationships

Apparently this wasn't good enough to mention on back if my card though !!! lol

Part 2 Nvq scaffolding (construction)
Erect and dismantle
Independent and birdcage, cantilever, pavement and roof scaffolds and scaffold towers

NVQ 2 is on back of my card !!!

Go figure !!! lol
