Appeal over theft of scaffolding.

At about 10am on Saturday 28th September four males all wearing high visibility work wear clothing took approximately 50 feet of scaffolding from a building in Cardwell Walk Thornaby Stockton On Tees TEESSIDE . To assist them in the theft of the scaffolding they used a white Volvo flatbed wagon which had two yellow lights on the roof. The vehicle also had a small Hiab type crane located in between the driver’s cab and rear body and also had a pair of vehicle ramps attached to the rear pointing vertically. The males responsible are all believed to have spoken with a Tyneside accent. The scaffolding is valued at £20,000.

Anyone with information, who witnessed anything or who may know who these men are asked to contact PC Paul Hustwick on the non-emergency number 101.

Ha, smoggies gotta love them.
Bunch that stole that wagon were probably car mechanics, know nowt about scaffolding, but they stole it all the same.

50 feet of gear worth 20K? That's more than scaffy charges

Says they had Tyneside accents. Smoggies would have taken a couple of days to strip 50 foot, a week if it was raining and they would have needed more than 4 in the gang

It also says it was done on a Saturday can't see them doing it Saturday unless they were getting £1/M resale. Now if it had been a Friday I would have said smoggies as they could of all used the alibi "No mate, weren't us we we're at the gates" :D
