there was a thread on here last year back asking for cv's for lads with there offshore certs.for a job that was meant to be starting on a wind farm after Christmas.put mine in and went for a interview up in Barnsley just before Christmas..

just wondering if anyone else had done the same or had any response back from them

Me and a friend got interviewed on 22nd December. We talked to the main man Kevin who was sound! I rang last week and they told me they were waiting for the main client to give the go ahead for more men.

Fingers crossed eh!

This is one of the best jobs I have had. I worked for this company (apollo cradles) and find that they are a great firm. If apollo were a major company offshore they would be one of the best companies to work for. The staff are particularly good and helpful and you would get no better person other than the managing director, Kevan to work for.

Unfortunately the work has ceased at the present time but may be starting again very soon.


All the best lads and keep an eye out for this company. I will post if any other information becomes available for you

that's the same day i was up for a interview , and also got the same opinion as you about the main man (Kevin) he was sound.
ive have rang up a few times now and have been told the same thing about the client and the job...so fingers crossed it will happen..

and jj any information to when it may be starting up would be sound pal...are you working for them at the moment or you been laid off . is the job as easy as it sounds ...just putting those frames together for the cables??

yeah great job, great company to work for.

I have worked for the company, but awaiting the job to restart, will keep you informed
