Please find below details of current job vacancies at Woods Solutions Ltd, in conjunction with Alltask Ltd.

Riddom Dock - Long term positions on new build incinerator
Sittingborne kent
Rates of pay Mon-Fri £17/hr
Weekend £22/hr

Allington Incinerator - 2 week pre shut and 3 week shut. *with opportunity to move to Riddom Dock.
Kent
Rates of pay Mon-Fri £17/hr
Weekend £22/hr

just got an email and passing it on lads i have NO idea about the job and im not paying digs but ive actually started alltask today on a different job and seems a class above so hope this helps out good luck
 
good luck to all the companies who are steadfastly refusing to pay digs ???? we all know what kinda scaffs you are going to get

Why should they pay £17 / £22 ?? if there are plenty of scaffs close by ?? in my experience (26 years) and not always the case , locals don't tend to do all the hours , and also take the job for granted ?? as I say, not always the case , but more than sometimes.

And what type of scaffs will they get???? -proberbly good local lads who need the workThats a fair rate for the area on basic hours & will suit local labour- the only reason anyone pays digs or megabucks is when the local labour pool has been exhausted & the agencys cant provide either so they have to use journeymen to fill the posts. Digs & travel payments are an incentive not a right

£17ph and £22ph is what Alltask pay, that's not a special rate for that job, you go on any job for them and that's the money they pay.
I worked for them for a year.

very good post mukka i always get the needle when ppl moan about digs granted im all for us scaffs getting everything we poss can get but not at the expense of local boys i myself have put a few mates on here in the frame about the job before i posted on here ( and EVEN a northerner lol) as i think this firm would suit all the kent boys to the ground

thanks about start SP its hours i aint done in 2 years but will be worth it pukka firm so far mate

london and the south east never pay diggs unless a blue book site,due to the fact there are many local lads which is fair play.
its the norm to start locals then widen the search.
WHAT DOES GET MY GOAT IS WHEN THERE ARE TRAVELLING MEN GIVING LOCAL ADRESSES TO GET THE JOB,AND SHIITEING ON THEIR OWN:mad:
 
If northerners are required to service the southern jobs that the southerners find too difficult due to being mostly Part 1's then they should be paid digs.

Gunslinger,us daft northerners do get digs in London.Enfield power station for a start which is blue book and been on.Unless you don't count Enfield as part of London.So what if lads are travelling to that job in Kent and getting digs.Good for them.If they could fill the job with local labour without paying it then I'm sure they would have.That options obviously been exhausted so that's the way the cookie crumbles.Also London bridge were paying digs for palmers when I was on there last year.Pipe down lad and dont take it to heart.you get what you can get in this life.Amen
