Does any one remember a agency called gulmunders they were Irish I think ,when they give you a job you meet some one at the nearest stn to the job which was some one like a old drunk ,they would allways get more scaffs than they needed to turn up in case they were let down by some then if every one turned up they would choose the one or two they needed .then they would take you to the job leave you with a post card you had to get your hours signed by agent then post it to a post box number to get paid ,what a load of bollox that was.there was a time when to many scaffs turned up then he wanted to send some home after a wasted journey so we all blew it out and went on the **** so they didn't earn a penny that day.ars holes that was in the early 80s
