Is it normal for a agencie to want to no your criminal record before you start work on a normal building site?

I have been dealing with agencies for years on and off.
First time I have heard THAT one though.
Normally its your past work record they may ask for, maybe references.

I dont no any scaffs who hasnt done a bit of porridge. Its probly just hays agencie then

Could be because Hays supply labour for airport jobs, and are scouting pre disclosure check, ie for getting names ready, time served usually is non disclosure a on civvie st, after a set time depending on the offense, except it has too be stated when getting disclosure certification

I didnt no that. But should you still have to pass it to do some site work for them?

Wouldn't have said so, unless your working in a bank, MI5 or something simular, which you'd need disclosure. You can search the web for advise on spent convictions, but, at the end of the day it gets dark, and that's when Pubs are open

I shouldn't of told the truth for once lol the last firm i worked for kept my job waiting for me while i was inside and then got me do a job in a crown court a week after with security checks passed

It don't always work like that. Ave got a colourful past an it's never stopped me. It just prob 2 c if ur a terrorist or like kids

Yes that I can understand, but usually the agency would advertise the need for disclosure records, but for a normal building site job I havent heard of that before.
