Advice getting offshore??

I was looking for any helpfull advice, hints and tips for getting work offshore.

have qualifications and get phoning companies, send CV in. bit extreme but it helps to live in Aberdeen ( North sea ) you will need at least part 2.

i've got part 2 and have got a boseit and mist booked for november. i'm in london but don't mind traveling. wheres a good place or website to get offshore componies numbers and details?

i have worked with part 1 s offshore ,and can think of atleast one who was core crew 2 on 3 off

salamis and rigblast have both taken scaffs on this week . if you havnt got offshore experience you will struggle to get off at this time of year . all the regular lads will be first back

They may have put a core crew member through his part 1, very much doubt you would get offshore with a part 1... especially in this climate......

definetly a part 1 made up to core crew mate . although i suspect he had relatives in high positions .
