I'm looking for an Advanced Scaffolder to work in New Zealand. This is a long term position for someone wanting to settle in our beautiful country.
We have a good variety of work, mostly smaller jobs. We use mostly Layher so experience with system gear is an advantage.
Contact me if you are interested and we can catch up to discuss details.

Welcome Graham , if only I was 30 years younger I would take your hand of for such an opportunity .
Don't suppose you would be interested in a very experienced older fella :p

Same hear sound a good move for a younger scaf is 47 to old:):):):)

Every day you learn something is not a wasted day sp
its nice to be called a pup again
i always thought there was a cutoff age when emigrating to nz or has that been extended if i thought i could get a visa ide go tomorow :):):):)

Sorry for the slow response.
I don't think 47 is too old for the immigration department but you would have to check. I have had older guys come out, but they change the rules all the time.
From my end it is up to the individual how fit you are. Our work is pretty demanding because of the steep terrain in Wellington but we blow out as many young guys as older ones.
Check out our website WorkZone Scaffolds: Fixed and Mobile Scaffolding for hire, access equipment for Residential & Commercial Hire, Wellington, NZ and let me know if you are interested.

Hi, I'm interesting about your offer , can you give me your email If I can send my CV to your email?

Quite an impressive web page there my friend - how many employees have you got & what type of wages are you offering for an advanced

Thanks for the compliment, we do a lot of ordinary stuff so I wouldn't want to mislead you.
The money here is not huge. Advanced scaffolder rate is $NZ26.50 we work 45 hours a week(Guaranteed 40) plus OT when we are busy, usually 6-8 months of the year.
Do you have a CV you can send (If I haven't put you off), email to graham@workzone.net.nz

£12.92 an hour but its the different life over there I suppose, fantastic opportunity for a single lad without ties.

If i could turn the clock back a few years graham i would luv 2 come & play but tbh i'm quite established & set in my ways & the move to the other side of the world frightens the life outta me...

No worries. We need to leave some of the good ones over there. I've been over a couple of times and there are some nice spots in the UK, where are you from?

You earn and spend in NZ dollars so works out about the same as most other places. Can buy dozen 500ml beers for around $20-24 or nice bottle of wine for $10

LOL think you've blown it there Graham, Scaffies from the UK don't drink wine. I made the move from UK in 2007. The streets in NZ are not paved in gold but fortune favours the brave. Has been a great move for me

Im a Jaffa for my sins. I would recommend NZ to everyone out there. When I came here, it wasn't about the money. I was looking for a major change in lifestyle, also Auckland weather is paradise compared to what I was used to in the UK.
