accrow props

since when has it ever been acceptable to use accrow props not to support but to hold down a bloody roof. Just used 30 to stop a large flat roof section lifting; with u-heads fixed to top plate of a standard accrow with 2 tech-bolts, nailed through supporting timber and again nailed to roof trusses, and each accrow bolted to the concrete floor, 2 bolts each.Lightly laced together, all as drawing showed. (it makes more sense if you were there, if im honest) But it doesnt matter what happens now, because if its as the drawing shows, it must work!
 
Never heard of it , but if its been calculated then i dont see a problem , well until the roof takes of anyway :worried:
 
they changed the drawing 3 times, and then it was open to change as needed! (signed off when complete) My main point is they moved the goalposts to suit them, as and when it was suitable.I know im pissed, but my sky tv has packed up and its bloody eastenders
