A First for me

Had quite an unique job request this week.:amazed:

A company from Iraq..yes Iraq, asked us to quote for the supply of tube,fittings and boards that were to be shipped out to Dubai.!!! ?

They wanted something like a thousand long,8000 fittings, and if I remember rightly, the total footage was around 40'000 of tube.

How the hell did they get hold of us??:suspicious:

We don't even sell gear on the scale that they wanted anyway.

I thought it was a prank to start with,but I had another email yesterday asking me to hurry up with the price.

Anyone else had something like this ???:nuts:

I did, out of curiosity, and there is a construction company of that name, in Iraq.

It probably is a hoax as a lot of tube is exported from the UAE

When we looked at it the other day in the office and from the gear they were asking for we thought they were doing a 13' tower that was about 150 lifts high...

I saw a firm, it was called: Rags'n'Ninja Construction, they are supposed to specialise in pipe laying/pipe bombs, secret underground bunkers mainly in Helmand Province, with onion fragranced perfume as a side line.
