Congratulations to the Scaffolders forum on reaching 4000 members , This accounts for 15% of the scaffolders in the UK , Well Done...

So heres to the next 4000, hip hip,...........

Now if you all join the Welcome to The SCCR then we will become a major force within the industry........Long may it continue.....

if 4000 scaffs is 15% of scaffs in uk then that means approx 27,000 total , that seems a bit on the low side to me, have you ever been to jarrow , newcastle, its the only place on earth where scaffolders out number the rat population :laugh:

must be 20,000 scaffs alone , the local pub is even called the scaffs arms :D

Yeah it's all good stuff Steve, although what percentage of members are not actually scaffolders and what percentage are from outside of the UK?
 
4 1/2 % in Hong Kong
2 % in New Zeland
5 % in Australia
6 % in Ireland
40 % in Scotland
43 % in England

of which 10 % admin
10 % training
30 % workers
50 % office related people who have not seen the outside in the day light!!!!

Yes it's great to reach another major milestone! I can't wait to reach the 5,000 member mark in Jan / Feb.

Hopefully we can have 10,000 members by the end of 2011. I know this sounds optimistic, but I never thought we would reach this many members in 15 months!

cant see that being a problem admin words starting to get on the streets cant see that number being a problem by the end 2011.

Yeah unfortunately is not possible to break it down by exact occupation as not everybody fills that in, in their profile field.

Its great to see a wealth of members for all different parts of the industry!
 
im sorry i missed this thread,this is some achivement 4000 members in such a short space of time truely amazing.i for one would like to thank the people who have made this possible with their time and effort(expense too).this movement is the most exciting developements in scaffolding since the band and plate,who knows in a few years time at this rate we could be the masters of our own fate.long live the forum and the sccr.
