when the concrete at the pier gave way and the scaffolding slipped into the sea.

I can recall a scaffolder dying offshore in UK around this time last year. Think it was a Cape employee. Does anyone know the outcome from that investigation?

Investigation still on going capes denying all responsibility as usual his wife was a model and left 3 kids I believe .

great post celtic and yes it really is a tragic story.
im presuming the concrete jetty wasnt up to taking the added load of the scaffold,but thatsd just a guess.
as for the cape one offshore i know that it personally affected one of our top posters family members but other than that i would reckon that bp and cape will try and wash their hands.
