2 hole unit beams

do any of you lads know the difference in load capacity on jointed 2 hole and 3 hole unit beams, we got a load of the old 2 hole type which we have used many times with out any problems, but i have been told we can no longer use them jointed ? :wondering:

I did ajob last year with 2 hole beams

but we hand to splce them with tube top and bottom

something to do with the joint did not meet new standards
