Coupler analysis

Has anyone got a Excel spreadsheet calculator for couplers or at least for the double?
Any help would be much appreciated!

What would you need to calculate? There is a table for capacities in different orientations, Is that what you were after?

Never been required mate, but looks fairly simple to calculate by hand.

so - looking at this it states that the safety factor is 1.5 with regards to the scaffold fittings

Here we go again on safety factors!!

Note that the text refers to a partial safety factor

Partial safety factors are applied to both loads and materials and are almost always different in value. They are set differently to allow for the different degrees of confidence in the accuracy of the assessment of the characteristic.

The overall safety factor is approximately equal to multiplying the partial safety factor for the load by the partial safety factor for the material. There is some statistics involved as well which will affect the overall safety factor but that makes it really complicated.
